Core Principle III – Order and Hierarchy

When these natural hierarchies are ignored or reversed, systemic imbalance arises, leading to tension, conflict, or unresolved patterns that may echo across generations.

Acknowledging and restoring the correct order enables each person to assume their appropriate place within the system. Children are freed from carrying responsibilities that belong to their parents; younger siblings can step out of the shadow of their elders; and later partners can fully take their place without being overshadowed by earlier attachments.

When order and hierarchy are respected, the system regains balance, love can flow more freely, and individual members are supported in their growth. Conversely, when the natural order is disrupted, members may unconsciously take on roles or burdens that do not belong to them, leading to entanglement and systemic strain.

Restoring order is therefore a key aspect of constellation work, allowing both individuals and families to realign with the natural flow of life and to access greater harmony, resilience, and well-being.
