Even before we become "me" — there is already a connection. This cluster of cells that will become the fetus — begins to develop the placenta that will become a separate organ — and it is our initial connection with the mother: an organ of nourishment, communication, connection — and also of boundary and separation. From here our module was born: to observe the placenta as a model for our relationships throughout life. At the end of October, Lilach Koresh-Benyamini and I will open a 42-hour / 6-Wednesday course that combines constellation, focusing, birth, biology, epigenetics and intergenerational transmission. We will explore, among other things: * What is mine and what is not mine * Connection versus separation * Nourishment and communication * Placental rituals * Epigenetics and intergenerational transmission * Pathologies of the placenta as a metaphor for relationships * Separations, losses and new beginnings
